Annoying Neighbors

I have the most thick headed neighbors. I just moved to a triplex and am living underneath a couple who has 1 child. Assuming that their child is in college they are not much of partiers. Little did I know I have a major problem. The b**** upstairs seem to not like sleep. On top of all this they have squeaky floor boards and I am constantly woken up at night by her prowling around after hours. I don't know what they do upstairs. Sometimes I think well, the place is old so you can't help but make some noise when you walk. However, it turns out maybe she has 10 feet cuz it seems like she's always on the move. One night I was awaken by her constant pacing on my ceiling I couldn't stand it anymore. I took a broom and after every thud of footstep she made I returned one. Thinking that she'll get the hint and be more considerate, I was wrong. The b**** walked harder and more. Finally the duel ended with her coming downstairs knocking on my door @ 2am and confronting me. Here I am mid 20's reasoning with a middle aged woman who doesn't know better than to respect peoples need to sleep at a reasonable hour. We debated for a while, I managed to stay calm during the "converstation" which I think ticked her off. She finally said, she can't help it if the floor board squeaks and if I had such a big problem I should tell the landlord to fix it. The hell with that, that's your problem b****. Of course I stay quite for the next following days only to go back to me waking up in the wee hours of the night to her heavy footsteps. That b**** is out to get me.

I have the same problem. They stomp around at all hours of day and night and I can hear them everywhere. Last night, for an hour, it sounded like there were bombs going off every twenty minutes, and that's with the massive air conditioner by my head drowning out noise. I hate them. I hate them very badly. I can't wait to move.
